Erik Dralans

Mr. E. Dralans was born in Antwerp in 1949. He graduated in Applied Economic Sciences and Maritime Sciences from Rijksuniversitair Centrum Antwerpen (University of Antwerp - UA).

Mr. Dralans was Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Operations & IT Banking at ING Bank and responsible for the processing of global operations and the related IT applications and platforms for ING Bank.

Erik Dralans served as Chief Executive Officer of ING Belgium SA/NV from July 1, 2007 to February 28, 2011.
He started his career with Bank Brussels Lambert (BBL) in 1972 and gained extensive international experience while working in Tokyo, Northeast Asia, Singapore and New York.

Mr. Dralans served as Chairman of the Board of Interpay and Debit Advisory Board of MasterCard.

Mr. Dralans serves as Chairman and Member of Supervisory Board of Equens SE. He also serves on the Board of a number of other companies and institutions.

In 2013 E. Dralans became a member of the Board of Trustees of the FVG.

In March 2015, he was elected Chairman of the FVG in succession of Rabbi Dr. Jeremy Rosen who resides in the USA where he is also active at the Jewish Community Center of Manhattan.
