He was lawyer for eight years. Afterwards, he left Europe with a "deuch" (2 HP) in search of the roots of the rising sun, visiting in details the Near- and Middle-East, as far as Afghanistan, Pakistan, and finally reached India after a two years' journey. He visited India back and forth and settled in Madras where he stayed for nearly twenty years. He also travelled to the USA, Canada, Cuba, Russia. Studied Indian Philosophy and Hinduism as well as Sanskrit at Madras University and was awarded a Ph.D. in Indian Philosophy. Studied Indian Arts: iconography, etc. He was adopted by a South Indian Kashmiri Brahmin who conferred on him his Gotra as his descendant, and he changed his name in G.R. Ramamurthi. In 1986 he was granted the Indian Citizenship. He was in relation with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Vishva Hindu Parishad and other Hindu associations, and delivered lectures in several Universities of Southern India. He also taught I.B. at Kodaikanal International (near Madurai). He returned to Europe in the nineties: by vocation a philosopher he had to earn a living for his family and as pot-boiler taught French language at the Alliance Française, until he retired. He is now writing an essay on Hinduism - in French, because the literature on that subject in this language is not that rich and lacks depth and precision. Just a few Talks and Papers:
